1864. Small Motto. Coin will grade About Good, Cleaned. The smaller lettering on the ribbon is clearly visible on this well worn piece. The color is a bit unnatural, so it may have been cleaned at one time. A diagonal scratch is noted near the center of the reverse.

All devices are well struck. This proof 1864 Large Motto two cent piece is from the first year of issue and is an ideal candidate for an affordable type set (PCGS # 3621) .
